To confirm your participation and minimize no-shows, we will ask you to provide a copy of your flight tickets later — unless you have registered for BEST2025, Erasmus+ Job Shadowing or Teacher Job Shadowing during the same period and have paid your participation fee.

We sent a satisfaction survey to teachers (N168) participating in Erasmus+ mobilities in Finland in the school year 2022-2023 and are now sharing the results. 97,5% of participants would recommend the Erasmus+ programme. Join us for this free webinar to learn more about the experiences and benefits of the Erasmus+ program! Organized via Zoom so you can join from anywhere!

Free Finnish School Visit Tasting

VisitEDUfinn is now giving everyone a chance to visit a Finnish classroom, free of charge! Our Free Finnish School Visit Tasting is for everyone who would like to get a “taste” for what happens in a Finnish classroom. You will have the opportunity to interact with a Finnish teacher and other participants, and gain a better understanding of the basic principles of Finnish education.

During the Tasting, you will be able to observe real classroom action through Zoom and have dialogue with the teacher. The visit lasts approximately one hour, and afterwards the Zoom link will remain open for the participants to network, share, and discuss what questions arose during the short sampling of Finnish education.

Each visit has a different theme and different teachers, so you will learn something new during each Tasting Visit. However, as the name indicates, these visits are only for getting a small taste– there is no pedagogical expert hosting the event or explaining how everything seen in the classroom is related to Finnish education. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the basics of Finnish education beforehand. On our website, there are free materials and links. In addition, we have Online Courses about Finnish education.

For those hungry for more after our tasting, we offer longer School Visits both online and onsite, and Job Shadowing experiences. Ultimately, if you crave a full-course experience of Finnish education, you are welcome to join our Study Tours in Finland.

IMPORTANT! These visits are not recorded, so please do not register unless you are able to attend the live session.

VisitEDUfinn les ofrece a todos la oportunidad de participar en una visita ¡totalmente gratis!  Para conocer virtualmente un aula finlandesa. La invitación es para todos los que quieran “una probadita” de lo que sucede en un aula finlandesa. Dentro de la visita, tendrá la oportunidad de interactuar con un profesor de Finlandia y con otros participantes, y conocer mejor los principios básicos de la educación finlandesa.

Durante la visita, podrá observar la interacción en tiempo real en el aula que será transmitido a través de Zoom y después podrán dialogar con el profesor. La visita de observación dura aproximadamente 45 minutos y después tendrán 45 minutos para una charla con el profesor. Al terminar la sesión de visita, tendremos un conversatorio para responder sus preguntas sobre los programas virtuales y presenciales como el Foro de Educación en Español STEP2022: una combinación única de visitas a las escuelas, conferencias y talleres con expertos en la educación finlandesa a realizarse en Helsinki Finlandia. Así como las misiones educativas hechas a la medida para grupos de profesionales en la Educación.

What is Erasmus+ Job Shadowing?

JOB SHADOWING IS NOW AVAILABLE ALSO IN ESTONIA AND SPAIN. 

Are you ready to take your school to the next level? VisitEDUfinn Ltd. is here to offer you and your staff a life-changing opportunity to learn from one of the most successful education systems in the world – the Finnish and the Estonian. Imagine job shadowing Finnish and Estonian teachers, observing their teaching techniques, and experiencing everyday life in Finnish and Estonian schools firsthand. It’s an incredible chance to gain practical insights that you can implement in your own school, and we recommend a group of at least two people from one school for shared and reflective learning. Anyone from any type of school, can take part. However, our services do not include job shadowing in higher education institutions, and we recommend contacting the universities directly.  

This experience will open your eyes to new possibilities, enhancing your teaching methodologies, and ultimately making a positive impact on your students. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; register online today and select your school type preference. The host schools are often located in the Helsinki metropolitan area or in Tallinn, but as the schools in the capital region are often overbooked due to the high demand, they are only available for groups (two or more participants). Therefore, individual visitors need to book their Erasmus+ Job Shadowing experience in smaller cities and towns, where schools welcome them with open arms. Note also that the VET/Vocational schools we arrange visits to are located outside the Helsinki metropolitan area due to high demand and a smaller number of this type of school. We can guarantee a maximum travel time of 2 hours from Helsinki, ensuring that participants won’t need to travel across the country. Let’s start this inspiring journey together!
